Like many people, we're remortgaging our Victorian house in St. Albans to get a more attractive rate. The survey, however, turned up some evidence of damp which we have to get checked out, and likely repaired, prior to the mortgage being completed.
Damp proofing is one of those industries full of cowboys, which is why I'm asking if anyone can make a recommendation - have you used a local provider you'd be happy to recommend (no need to point out bad providers). If so, post a comment below or drop me an email: info@stalbansblog.co.uk
Thanks!
I would also be interested. We used Fiabond before and they were great but no longer appear to be trading.
